St.Hilda’s East Community Hub offers a range of affordable office and studio spaces which are available to rent or hire. Located 3 minutes walk from Shoreditch High Street overground, and just 15 minutes from Old Street and Liverpool street stations, we are in the heart of Shoreditch, with multiple food and retail venues just steps from our door.

Whether you’re looking for a dedicated office space, or to hire a room for a meeting or training session, we can accommodate groups from 2 to 150 people. We also regularly host parties, Mehndis and other community celebrations in our beautiful Middleton Hall.

We particularly welcome enquiries from other charities and community not-for-profits, who can benefit from our charitable discounts. Our venue comes equipped with high-speed fibre optic broadband (900MBs), concierge services, kitchens, break-out spaces and even a roof garden.

Middleton Hall

Unique and flexible, Middleton Hall, pictured above, is our largest space at 1660 square feet, with a capacity of 120 people for a reception, 80 theatre style, or 60 seated for dining. Its lofty two storey high ceiling and natural daylight makes it a desirable and sought after venue for conferences, art exhibitions, receptions, birthday parties, Mehndis, weddings, theatrical rehearsals and fashion shows, plus almost any event that calls for a combination of capacity and elegance.

With folding walls that open up to the adjoining café to increase capacity, and kitchen area with serving hatch, Middleton Hall is located on the ground floor, providing easy access for loading.

Community Café

Adjacent to the Middleton Hall, and with natural daylight via large windows overlooking Old Nichol Street, the Community Café space seats 20-30 people as a stand alone unit, or can serve as an extension to the hall. The space has a fully equipped kitchen which can be made available for use with the Café.

Old Nichol Board Room

This south-facing room offers great natural light from large windows and lends itself particularly well to training sessions, boardroom style meetings or workshops. Accommodating up to 16 people boardroom style, and 25 in classroom format, it is located on the first floor (with lift access) and has views over Old Nichol Street and Club Row. The room is equipped with a whiteboard, fresh water is provided and there is access to a kitchenette on the same floor to make tea/coffee.

The Rising Phoenix Room

The Rising Phoenix is a bright space located on the second floor, with lift access. Used for Yoga Classes, Physiotherapists and many of our Youth Programmes, it is particularly well suited to activity sessions for 20-30 people who need a creative space. Its large inner window gives a beautiful view of Middleton Hall.

The Balcony Room

One of our smaller rooms, situated on the first floor with floor to ceiling west-facing windows and its own balcony, this room is exceptionally light and airy. Ideal for a small meeting or breakout session for up to 3 people, the Balcony Room is equipped with a desk and a whiteboard, and fresh water is provided; there is access to a kitchenette on the same floor to make tea/coffee.

The Captain’s Room

With a wall of floor to ceiling west-facing windows, this first floor room gets great natural light. It lends itself to a boardroom style meeting for 8-10 people, or equally as office space accommodating up to 4 desks. The room is equipped with a whiteboard and fresh water is provided; there is access to a kitchenette on the same floor to make tea/coffee.

Training Room

Our first floor training room has capacity for up to 20 seated learners in a spacious and light classroom. It is available to hire by the hour, day or week with competitive prices and discounts for charities and community groups.
