We would like to thank our work experience students for helping us out throughout the course of this last week. Two form Mulberry Girls, one from Leyton and another from Leicestershire.

Thanks to the help of these students we’ve not only had assistance with clients such as the Older People’s Project and the Food Co-op, but also a helping hand behind the scenes. Ranging from promotion of our street party through handing out flyers to writing about what goes on at St. Hilda’s and the reason why we do what we do. There has also been help with keeping our socials up-to-date.

This help is truly appreciated and we hope that in return these students have gained an experience that is very valuable to them.

We also are very lucky to have such great interns join us throughout our time here at St. Hilda’s. For the past 5 weeks we have had CAPA intern and trainee nutritionist Emily here also helping us out and presenting ‘lunch and learns’, informing us on the importance of nutrition and good food tips. Not to mention doing talks about how important nutrition is for sufferers of diabetes to the Older People’s Project.
