St. Hilda’s East is a vibrant, independently run local charity which has been supporting the Tower Hamlets community for 135 years.

Our mission is to build a sustainable community that connects people to opportunity and allows everyone to reach their potential. We transform lives through the delivery of more than 50 programmes weekly from our community hub, supporting families and individuals in all stages of life.

Each year we need to raise £635,000 to keep our community centre running. Our programmes are wide-ranging, for all ages, backgrounds and faiths, and all are completely free to the community. Without the help of our Friends and Supporters this would simply not be sustainable.

Coming to St. Hilda’s means everything. Company and joy.

Being able to deliver our programmes consistently is key to enable our beneficiaries to complete their journey with us and thrive.
